Hi All. Am back in New Zealand from Europe for a mere 5 days, so Momentus got the crew together and we headed down to Rotorua from Auckland for the day....

Weather was a mean winters day, even some snow flurries, hail, rain, sun, the whole shooting box.... A most enjoyable day though, had a blast, great to ride with the crew again, been away for 6 weeks and hadnt been on the bike for near 4 weeks... So was a great day...

Will let the pictures do the talking....

Picking up KillerB prior to 5AM......

Near 7AM and a needed coffee break in Matamata...

Arriving in very cold and wet Rotorua

Getting ready and underway in the Carpark

Various pictures on the trails.....

KillerB cramping

Small break to do some rear der adjustments

Some Nicolai, Turner Love....:p

At the beginning of Billy T Trail. Pissing with rain and light snow flurries, which is really rear for this area...

Group shot, bottom of Billy T's

Momentus's filthy Moment....

The Redwoods on Be Rude Not 2

Ferns were stunning today

Cant beat being dirty....

Ready to leave for a big feed!

As I was saying, very rear to see snow here, was cold enough to "freeze the balls off of a brass monkey"

A great day for me indeed, thanks to the crew for the company and most enjoyable day.....

for sure, great circuit of trails yesterday... Am down with Grandpa shuttle dude getting out of bed, despite the wet rain, as opposed to the dry rain......

Yep, that will go down as very memorable ride......

Would have to go down as the most memorable Rotorua rides. Given the weather and no crashes on the very slick roots... amazing...

The long drive down and back just makes you appreciate it more and more.

We need to get Spotz to buy (or bring) a good rain jacket next time. Made me feel cold just looking at him.

We are very lucky...

Well after a warm shower, lots of tucker and a good 8 hours sleep, reflection on this big bad Rotovegas ride feels somewhat surreal! How did so many delights come together in one day you may ask, location, company and commitment all come to mind - even the elements puts on a show you only see on a rare occasion......magnificent!

Big thanks to Fent for the lift and the Horsemen for making it - legs are a little tweaked today...
