This was the easist race I've ever done, it had a free entry fee, free camping. A central location point to come back to and start from, a fire to warm by and a race format that was easy to follow.Eric executed the race in a professional manner. There was no cut-off times so you could go at your own pace and still keep racing. If you did not do this race you missed out! Everybody wants a gathering......well you missed it.....great weather and a whole campground to have it.A weekend camping and riding with friends and meeting new friends and racing was EASY.

As far as the difficulty of the stages, it was some of the hardest riding I've done.I only made it through 2 stages and that was 14 hours of riding totaling 93 miles and who knows how much elevation gain, by then my knee's and ass said that's enough for this weekend!
Will I be back next year???? Hell Yeahhhhhh!!!

On your Right!

I lost track of me several times.

If anybody has seen me or has any whereabouts on where I might be, please let someone other than myself know.

Thanks.
I think I remember you screaming on your right and then you charged pass me while we were all pushing up Farlow, right before the umbrella picture taker!? and then you yelled
" Thats how you win this thing". It was probably the highlight of my night.....well maybe #2. I think Nick's ( Top of Farlow) Moonpie cafe was #1.

Yup that was me and it was fun.

I was trying to get everybody to throw a party going up Farlow but everyone was just trudging along like those Animals in "The Lost Crystal"

I want some [email protected] party animals next time. . .

Oh man - I blew right through the top of Farlow and didn't even notice the Moonpie Cafe - I coulda used the sugar rush.

Could have used the company also to share in the misery - was all alone hiking up Farlow - saw a train of lights in the distance behind me. Then right as I got to one of the most gnarly hike-a-bike sections I see 2 dudes (Mike, right?) with camera and flash gear - pretty cool - looking forward to those pics.

Hey Dave, so sorry man, thought I offered the menu to everyone. You must have been right after Broussard.... There were a few of you who did just blow right through the gap, took a right turn and were gone into the moonlight.
