Jerk_Chicken - Dude, thanks for the writeup on cleaning and lubing the TALAS air spring, my fork (07 Talas 36 RC2) is better than it was new (was new out of the box June 2008). It was sticky out of the box and never worked quite right, now it feels almost like a proper fork.

Next up is monkeying with the bottom out resistance.

Thanks again dude!

Cool man. Hope it all works out. I've taken my Talas apart a few times now, established where the ports attach to the air valve, and other stuff. I did some mods to mine (not really, just in the form of making it linear and predictable by removing IFP air), and once I greased the seals and added clean oil, it became stiction free. Not zoke smooth, but very well performing. I will likely add BO again due to the linearity of my setup.
