Eric, if you are reading this, I just want to say thanks for your patience with me during the process of our becoming Foes dealers. You were a big reason that I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on buying into the Foes brand. We spoke with Mitch and he is ready to help us out, and we are still moving towards becoming dealers... but I think it is appropriate for us to still give you a shout out and a thanks for helping us out.

In case anyone is not in the know... Eric has moved on (on very good terms) and up. we aren't official Foes dealers yet, and I already miss him and his frequent email updates. I know the rest of the staff will pick up his slack as they all seem to be great guys.

I just felt it necessary to give a thumbs up to Eric for being such a genuine guy in this business. I hope he continues his career in this industry as he is definitely one of the good ones, and Foes is definitely one of the good companies out there.

When did this happen? I just emailed Eric a week ago and he emailed me back.
I got an email on Wednesday stating that Thursday would be his last day there.... here is the email.. I am sure he wouldn't mind my sharing it.

Hello everyone, I'm e-mailing to let you all know that today is my last day here at Foes Racing. What a long strange trip its been working for Brent and his team, but I have learned more than I ever thought and have many of you to thank for your kind words and service during the past three years. Thanks again for all your support and I wish everyone the best with the coming holidays. Thanks to all those who helped me out when time was short and I hope that I have served all of you in the most appropriate way.
Ill have to check my email. I emailed Eric a few times.
Im glad Eric is gone from Foes. He gave them a bad name. He told me lies upon lies when he worked there. I know of many others he lied to. He did not leave on good terms as your email states.

The local guys I ride with say Foes's slogan should be "Love the bike, hate the company." I hope this changes, now that he is gone.

I have heard story upon story about Eric and his terrible attitude and customer service. I wont go into detail about all the lies he told me, but there were a lot. When you build a top notch bike, you should have a top notch guy helping you run the company.

I swore that I would never buy another Foes after all the stuff I went through with Eric, but now my thoughts have changed since Eric is gone.

And thats all I have to say about that.
Wow. I really had nothing but great experiences with Eric. I would guess that all the bike reps probably tell little white ones every so often.

Your experience has been noted though. Thanks for the info.

I think everyone misses Rich Cleveland, he was the man when it came to making Foes Rock, Brent has always had awesome bikes but never anyone special in the office, exept Rich.

I COMPLETELY agree. Rich C helped me out when I told him I hated the Curnutt. He traded me a Romic and a racing jersey for my Curnutt. He answered all my questions and was super cool. He actually emailed me awhile back after he left Foes. He was living by Bootleg if I remember right.
Rich C spotted in Moab

FYI- Rich is now enjoying the chill life out in Moab, heading up a new web design company, website, and a family. Check him out at www.MoabWorld.com and if you can come out to the new Moab Bike Fest during Halloween do it! You wont be sorry.

btw- anyone looking for a sweet '04 Fly frame- medium. Holler at me and we can talk.
I could not agree more. I called Foes many times for info/tech help and Eric was horrible. He was uninspired, disinterested and a poor customer service rep. I have lived on the Shore my entire life and cannot tell you how happy I would be to work at a company like Foes (if it were local) but I guess for him it was just a stepping stone, but it shows. Good Riddance. Things can only get better now.
Rich was the guy who set up me and my partner with our Fly's. Too bad he is gone, but good people are hard to keep. Perhaps Brent should learn the golden rule of business: the most important customer is the staff. Happy staff, happy customers. Treat them well and they will treat the customer well. Eric was terrible in this regard; I could hear the apathy in his voice over the phone. Hopefully he is not in sales; if so, what company. I want to know.
