I bought a new square taper spindle with bearings and cups. I could not remove the fixed cup(I did not know how), so I put the new bearings and spindle in with the old fixed cup. If I did not over tighten the bearings the spindle would rattle around loose on the bearings. Found a great video-What did we do before there was YouTube?
