stop. shuttle time?Calhoun said:awesome.
yes, but not till 4. gah!icegeek said:shuttles?
Good man, hope you get that new fork dialled.Calhoun said:Sorry no action shots... I left the camera at home.
But I should have some decent build pics tomorrow!
Cool man, I really dig the DH cartridge. I look forward to those pics and some more of your frustration/elation figuring out the new steed. I had a good local ride here last night (Austin) with the 30" bars...made sure to wear my DH gloves for that, and it paid off. Otherwise, the bike is riding awesome...Calhoun said:Well, I lied.
Or more like the bike shop lied.
I went to pick up my bike last night and was told it hadn't been touched. All I needed was to have my brakes bled. Too complicated I guess. You would hope that when you are told "it will be done Tuesday, no doubt" that you could pick it up Tuesday. Not the case. Oh well. I talked to the owner and he assured me that it will be finished tonight.
So... I will post up pictures of the bike soon.
CharacterZero: I ended up with the Lyrik Solo Air DH, if it rides like the Mission Control version I will be super stoked!
Wondered where you were yesterday. Only had one Ventana on the ride as RCC went rogue with the RFX.Calhoun said:I went to pick up my bike last night and was told it hadn't been touched. Nobody remembers hangers when they order a new frame, cause they "never" break...Calhoun said:Paj on Sunday works for me.
I did not order the hangers with the frame (not sure what I was thinking) and I can't seem to get anyone on the phone when I call Ventana. So.. I lets hope I don't have to "borrow" one.
If there was only one, does that mean the Ciclon got some trail time?
Did you have a RP3 on any other bikes?icegeek said:FWIW, my t-moto didn't ever really feel right until I ditched the RP3 for a DHX4...
Yeah...that is right. 30" is pretty wide in the tight&twisty! I just moved from RF Atlasm AM bars that were a few years old @ 27" wide. I looked at the Atlas FRs, but went with chromag instead.Calhoun said:30" bars, thats it?
J/K I have some Race Face Atlas FR bars on my bike. I love the width, but I also hate it. I am thinking of trimming them a bit because I am tired of scraping trees.
I plan to get everything dialed tonight. Wifey has school, so I'll have some garage time, I found out that my clever way of mounting the Schmidt is detrimental. So I need to clean that up and set sag all around. "IF" the shop has my wheels finished I will spend some time setting those up too. I have a High Roller for the back and a Nevegal for the front. The Nevegal will need some trimming to run well up front I have heard.
you are the linky king, so where is the linky?CharacterZero said:Are you doing the "hero"mod? IIRC, it is ever other knob on the next-to-oustide row?.
