Terralogic 120 mm?

Am I the only one who wants a Fox Terralogic fork with 120 mm of travel?!

According to the Fox website, it is only available in 80 or 100 mm, and as far as I know, with the new FIT cartridge system, you can no longer simply remove a spacer and extend the 100 version to 120 mm, like you could with the pre-FIT forks.

Thoughts?

Fox TALAS Terralogic ,adjustable from 120-95mm, available as far as I know.
Yeah, the TALAS option. Thanks for pointing that out, but I've had a really mixed bag of experience with TALAS forks, as have many friends.

It has always seemed that more servicing is required, and that they have noticeably more stiction than the regular air forks.

Maybe this has changed with the simpler two-position travel adjustment, but I would really prefer a fixed 120 mm travel Terralogic fork.
The new 2 stage Talas is working well for me so far. Some disagree but I think it is a nice feature to have. It would be even better if it had handlebar activation. Small weight penalty. Shouldn't be any extra stiction. Plus if that is all they have...
I had the F29 120mm RLC and ordered the TerraLogic cartridge separately... Ran the TL until recently, just converted to Lefty. Very nice, but I miss the TL pedal platform.

I think Fox is missing the boat by not offering the 120 F29 with the TL... I would give them a call and see if you could special order it... I do not see a reason why not, it's a drop in part.

To me the TL is a great race fork, not as plush as the RLC (in the TL mode) but weapon of choice for me in race applications (set it and forget it).

A review I did with a bit of info: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=675005
I'll try contacting Fox directly Tuesday, and maybe I'll get lucky.

In a perfect world, I'd just drop the Terralogic cartridge into my existing F29 120, but, alas, Fox says they changed the FREAKING THREAD PITCH this year, so that won't work.

Thread pitch? Really? Come on!
Why did they make the Talas 95-120mm vice 100-120mm? Since most bikes are designed around 100mm or 120mm of travel, why 95?

You realize that 5 mm is 0.196850394 inches, right. Not much, really.
Yes, I've looked at it on a metric ruler. Just seems strange to not make it 100.

That does not even make sense... anyway, couldn't you just get the TL cartridge for whatever year you have?

I'd check with another tech... I've had mis-information before... I have a real hard time believing after one year of productin they went and changed the thread pitch... maybe they are talking about the Talas 36???

If you think about it. I'll bet they were going for 1 inch.
