Next month I am traveling from Washington state to Colorado and Utah to attend the Front Range Cyclist Show (March 19) and the GRIT Epic 50 (St George UT, March 26.

But the main part of the tour is to find the trails you ride everyday. The best trail is the one you are on.
Where should I stop to ride? Can you take me for a ride on your trails?
My route is open, help me plan it.

I will be talking about my Out There Tour in Colorado Springs, and you can be a part of the story.

see you Out There!

Screampint has offered to show me around Fruita, so that is on the agenda.
Hey Shiggy. If you make it up north at all (I'm 20 min N of Boulder) I'm happy to tour guide.

ig, let's set it up. I need to be in Colorado Springs by the morning of the 18th. Otherwise the schedule and route to get there is open.
I'll give you a tour of whatever's rideable in Colorado Springs. We've had a very dry, un-snowy winter so far so I'm guessing that there will be a lot available, but March is blizzard month on the front range so it's always a dice roll that time of the year.

If conditions warrant, Palmer Park is probably where I would suggest bringing you.

Edit: I can't ride during the days on weekdays, but if you have lights, there is lots of great night riding locally.
Cool. When will you be arriving in the Front Range?
I can picture the Closed sign at Redstone Cyclery.

Handwritten note on the front door: "ridin' with Shiggy"
Hey Shiggy.
Great to hear you are making it out this way. How about a 5am FIFO?

Not sure yet. So far it looks like I will be making at least 3 stops before I get to CO. I will try to get the itinerary a little more organized.

OK I could do that, as long as I do not do a night ride the day before.

Could I borrow a light? Will we need lights?

Yeah, tried doing that before, not a good idea.

Heck, yeah I got a light for you. Why do think I mentioned a FIFO ride?

Didn't you ride with the DOD up in Oregon?

Thanks, scar.

Yup, I was a founding member of the DOD (1986?)

If you come down from the north-(i.e. I-80) and you want to hit some Fort Collins trails before heading down to Lyons, let me know. We can do something close, or not so close, a couple of hours or a lot of hours.

I can ride during the week if given enough notice, if it doesn't run into spring break.
Shiggy-Look forward to having you at our show March 19th and even more so, look forward to showing you some of our riding.

At this point I would estimate being in your area around the 15th.

Planning on at least 3days at CO Springs, juan
Well, I just picked up several Titus and three On-One demo/display bikes, a bunch of bars and a few other things.

Set to head out Friday, give or take. For those that have offered to show me around, expect an email in a day or so to firm up details.

The hard dates are still the Front Range Cyclist Show March 19 in Colorado Springs and the GRIT Epic 50 March 26 in St George UT.
