ok, i need an adapter for 8in discs onto a thoughaxle fork, the only ones i can find are the Avids and Hayes, but i dont know if the offset on their Disc brakes is the same as the Tektro IO. do they all have the same offset? or is it the same as like the Hope Mono T6 or something?

also, will the Avid adapter http://www.blueskycycling.com/product307_31_-Avid-Disc-Brake-Adapter-For-185-or-203mm-Rotor.htm
work for through-axle forks? i know the Hayes one does, but the Avid is cheaper, and Adjustible to 185mm rotors too.

You may be S.O.L.

I've looked at the Avid adapter as well as the Tektro IO adaper and the Tektro Aquila adapter. They all look different. It looks like QBP catalogue has the 160 mm replacement adaptor for the IO, but nothing larger. The largest they carry for Tektro products is a 180 mm (7 inch) for the Aquila product. If you are set on an 8" rotor, you may have to buy a new disc set up for the fork.
