I recently got a 2022 Giant Stance with 27.5 wheels that came with Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic disc brakes. The rotors that came with it were also Tektro branded and I was looking to replace the brakes and the rotors. I’ve searched everywhere and could not find a single website or forum about the HD-M280 brakes. The brake levers and brakes do look different from normal Tektro MTB brakes. Does anyone happen to know anything about them?

Interesting, in the U.S. the Tektro website shows the M280 as a mechanical disc, not sure if that's a regional thing. Curious though, if you are wanting to replace them, what info are you looking for?
I was going to only replace the pads so I started looking for the brakes that were on the bike but couldn’t find anything about them. My local bike shop said they just put on whatever came with the bike because there was a shortage on parts so they have no idea about those brakes. Let me know if you happen to find more information on them, thanks!

Ah! Gotcha. And actually, that sounds pretty dang believable. Take a closer look at the brakes and see if you can get a model number off them...also, this community it huge, post up a picture of the levers and calipers. You'll get far more info that way. BTW, most Tektro brakes can use model specific Shimano pads (and vise versa).

Alright, thank you for the feedback and help!
