Rode a 06 Sport last weekend in the parking lot of Performance. Wow, finally a bike that does what it claims to do! I couldn't get it to bob under peadling, even sprints. Rear end is really stiff, much better than the Four Bar link I am replacing. And the shock action seems to be nice and plush, my old bike was a pogo stick when I set it up that soft. Of course the real test is on the trail, but already I can tell what a difference this design makes. My old ride a Psycle Werks Wild Hare, looks just like a Jamis Dakar; it had significant side flex on berms, brake jacked like a hoopty car, and even with a Swinger 3-Way shock still would bob and bob and bob. After my last brutal race, I decided this wasn't going to cut it.
Anybody have any experience between the MK III and 6Point? I think the MK III is more my style: Aggro XC no big jumps or tricks, more of a "flow" style think running water down the trail. Was just curious of what your guys opinion are between the two, especially since they are so close in Spec.
Thanks
