I am looking at picking up a used bike and upgrading it. The initial headset was the following: ZS 44/28.6 - ZS 44/30
I am assuming that the head tube is large enough to accommodate a tapered fork but the lower fitting would have to be swapped out with an EC44/40. I am guessing that this will also add about 10 mm or so but otherwise this should work. Is this correct?
