I'm doing the DK200 and I'm working up to a 150 mile training ride. Should I taper for two weeks or one? I think I've heard of both. After that kind of training it seems like you might need more than a week to fully recover for the 200.

IMO, ~10 days of gradual taper should do it. Best to go in feeling "Oh, maybe I tapered too much" rather than "Oh, darn, I'm still feeling a little fatigue in the legs".
