Some peeps from out of town were asking me about Taos riding conditions the last week in Mach. I am guessing the stuff around the river and town would be ok, but what about the higher stuff?

You most likely have guessed wrong. Normally all will still be muddy/ snowy last week in March down low and everything up high will be covered in snow for a month or more. We tend to get a huge snowfall right about the time that the ski valley closes.
Of course that depends on the wind, if the winds come up good in March, things could maybe dry out. Probably not.
This has been a very strange year.

May be dry right now, but if the OP is planning a trip, odds are we will not be dry at the end of March, hopefully we will get more snow and be able to ride in the woods this summer.
