Hey all!

I have a 2012 Tallboy Carbon with SRAM XX group set. I have kept it stock, so to this point if something broke or wore out I replaced it with the original.

My rear Derailleur brake (only 2nd time in 7 years) and I am having trouble finding a replacement XX. I have found some on ebay…

My question is do I have any other options besides:

1) finding a XX on ebay or
2) replacing the entire groupset.

If I replaced the groupset I would go XTR.

I'm not a real drivetrain expert so hopefully someone else will pipe up if I lead you astray, but I would have thought you just need any SRAM 10 speed MTB RD with the same actuation ratio of your old XX. I suspect that if you can't find an exact vintage XX replacement one of the GX 2x10 rear derailleurs that SRAM still sells would work (but I'd check with your LBS or whoever you're ordering from to make sure).
