I want to take my 2007 Fox Talas 32 for apart for 2 reasons. One is that I'm going to have a friend at a body shop paint it white to match my new frame, and two because its way past due for a servicing.
Can anyone tell me any details about this operation? I'm quite mechanically inclined but have never dealt with a bicycle fork itself. Are there any Fox online instructions I can find? Any tips or tricks? Any suggestions on where to get the oil? Any special tools?
Thanks so much in advance, any help is quite appreciated
Wow, their instructions are impeccable! Now I just need to order the fox oil, the measuring beaker, and new seals and foam ( figure I can reuse the crush washers)? Anything else I should do while its apart?
