This first set is from the Rose to Red Flume/ Sunflower Hill then over TRT... the last few shots are from Tunell Creek trail which was very scenic for a sandy steep dirt road.

Mount Rose to Red Flume Trail to Marlett Peak then down Tunnel Creek.

Thanks for sharing the pics I really wish we could've gone with you.

I think we found a great route for the MM to take from Mt Rose. It's about 11 miles with little climbing and options for more for more advanced riders. Char rode this route and had a blast so I think Russ can hack it. Very nice stuff.

Well, we may have to do that route for one of the even days of our trip! :thumbsup:

Lemme know, as we should probably start making reservations.

I wouldn't worry too much about reservations, we can ride it as an out-and-back. I don't remember, Northstar was Saturday, He was talking about Mt Rose on Friday? That would be better because then riding the Flume trail would be easier.

I may have to start searching for a smaller camera

My SLR 35mm is too big for most bike trips.
I would have taken pics on that forsaken fire road with the beautiful flowers and Dennis working on why he goes by Ogre".


The pics are lovely. Makes me want to go back sooner than later!

Yep, you can't carry a camera that weighs as much as your bike.

And it's 0gre as in "Zero Gee Are Eee", with 0 being half of the binary number set.

I'm not picky about the name, the only reason I'm 0gre is because someone grabbed Ogre on MTBR before me. I was late to the MTBR party.
