I got on of these bars in the other day.
Good weight and price! The bars have a molded titanium lattice protects the handlebar from the crushing loads.

This bar is the 580mm x 6º version. Also availabe in 9º
Claimed weight is 119g :)

Nice new option in light weight carbon bars!

is this the 9° or 12°-version? (as i'm riding the 9°, which is only a few months old now and hasn't the titan-mesh in the middle but therefore an alum-sleeve with black coating on it blistering off bit by bit)

*edit*

ehm, ok, 6°.
i should have read your posting *lol*
does somebody know if it weighs the same in 9°?
I've been riding the Syntace 12deg. VRO carbon Ultralite for over a year now. Extremely stiff and strong. Allows for very steady handling together with my carbon Lefty.

I have a 9 degree duraflite carbon that weighs 130g, and it is like the one you have - no titanium mesh in the center. I don't thing they make the 12 degree duraflite in carbon, only aluminum.

not sure about this but i think, syntace used to offer the duraflite carbon also in 12deg (quite some time ago) and furhermore i think, i've also read someone at another board posting on his lately bought 12deg carbon duraflite (with ti-mesh! damn it!)

I just checked their web site, according to that the carbon duraflite comes as a 6 degree or a 9 degree and the aluminum duraflite as a 9 degree or a 12 degree. They also make a carbon riser bar that is 12 degree with 1/2" rise and 630mm wide, claimed 168g.

doesn't have to mean anything (of cours it could, but not necessarily does ;) )

their is at least one guy at www.mtb-news.de claiming to own a 12deg carbon duraflite
