Hey yall,

My girlfriend has a bent frame, she was riding a women's specific hardtail, small or medium in size. We'd like to get a used one and not have to change a bunch of components to make it compatible. What are some important considerations? Obviously no rear shock, and something designed for rim breaks, no disc. Headtube size? What else?

Seat tube size effects seatpost, seatpost clamp, and front der size.

Make sure that your fork travel is suitable to the next frame. As design has advanced some geometries allow for more travel. If you put a shorter travel fork on one of those your effective head tube angle will reduce making things twitchy.

Bottom bracket size can be an issue resulting in chainline issues. Check the width of the BB shell.
