You can really go whichever direction looks good, and it will be a good ride. But here is the basic route I use. Once you go through the gate in the parking lot, take a right. Don't go straight up the hill. At the first Y intersection, take a right. From here you can just pick a trail at any intersection, and head off. They are all loops. Once you do those trails, you can go back to that first Y intersection you came to, and do the other side of the area. It would be difficult to give you an exact route, because there are so many choices to make. It's better with a guide, that's for sure. But use the map, and you won't get lost.
