I've never heard of them. I would stick to the bigger companies. I have not heard of hanebrink either. I looked them up and there forks seem to have pretty bad reviews. How much is this bike? You may be able to get something better for the price.

Damn,I ain`t even heard the name Hanebrink in like 5 years...I used to ride one of their forks in 1999...big a$$ stanchions, upside down, but full of problems. That thing leaked so much oil ! My garage floor looked like a full on auto garage after letting my bike at the time sit there for a month.I would swap the Hanebrink right away(just my personal opinion),or go for a better known bike company altogether.
I know the original owner of that bike. He had it custom built/sized to him. He sold it to the guy on Craigs list just a few months ago. The original owner really liked the bike and the set up. No real big drops only 8 footers max from the stories he told me. As for the bike itself I hadn't of heard of SWD or Hanibrink till just a few weeks ago when he first told me of it. The price listed is I think about 1/3rd the original price.

Oh yeah isn't there a decent Treck listed on there as well within the last week?
SWD riders win races all over NorCal on Crazy 8s. It's a super clean bike. I've ridden with a guy who had a Crazy 8 built up with a Fox 40, and he was killing it (see pic below). Oh yeah, plus the frame is steel, not aluminum.

word, there was a thread on this company not to far back. they seem pretty solid bikes, can u imagien if they were aluminum how light they would be
ya im thinking of getting that or just picking up a banshee scream frame and building it up from there. but you guys suggest any good DH/freeride bikes that dont cost 3 grand????????
For you, Transition Dirtbag, all the way. Frame is $900, and a complete bike is $2500.

I would recommend a Versus blitz, but the frame is more like $1400.

The Dirtbag and Versus Blitz are *very* similar. I'm in the process of building a Blitz, and it's looking to finish out around $3600.

But a Crazy 8 should work too!
