Swap Fox steer tube? 150 RLC

I'm looking for a new fork for my gf's frame, and she's got a 1 1/8" headtube. I found a good fork that is a combination of 2009/2010 parts, but it's got a tapered headtube
On Ebay, I won an auction for a complete steer, crown and stanchion kit from a 2007 Float 140.
I looked at the Fox technical manuals, and the part # is for up to a 2008 Fox fork. I think the stanchions have not changed significantly, but I'm not 100% certain.
Does anyone know if the stanchion/crown assembly from a 2007 float will work in a 2009/10 fork? I can get a 10mm spacer to reduce travel if needed.
