A Supergo is about to open in Westminster (NW suburb of Denver). I've ordered from them before, and I was thinking of getting one of their Scattante road bikes for my son. Are the prices in the stores the same as on the web?
This is actually kind of a downer, since now I'll have to pay the 8% sales tax if I buy in the store, and I think even if I mail order I'll have to pay the 3% or 4% state sales tax, since they now have a store in Colorado.
I have noticed that they tend to jerk their prices on their house brand stuff as often as the wind changes. There is always an unrealistic 'MSRP' and then a sale price that changes pretty much weekly. The bike in question shows 'normal' price of $799, 'on sale' for $749, but the text description of the bike says it is $699, and the 'on sale' price last week was $649.
Jeez. Once the bike has been $649 once, I'm not likely to pay $749 for it, especially when the text description still says $699.
