YESTERDAY they had the Marzocchi Z1 FR 1 w/ ETA on sale for $299.95
TODAY it's on sale for $349.95.

F it, man, if you're going to have a sale, then have a sale, but
don't jack the price all around. I was going to buy this thing
tomorrow for $299.95, but now I can't, and I sure don't want
to pay $350 for it.
$350 still isn't that bad of a deal, but they aren't going to get
my business with their jerking around of the price.

FYI- my buddy called them to ask them who is in charge of
raising the prices like this, and/or why they would do such
a thing, and customer 'service' was very blunt and unhelpful.

Yeah they do that all the time. Gotta act on it right away.

I was going to buy a Weyless XP frame when it went down to $399, two days later it was back to $499 and has never been that low again.

I like the weyless 67 deal...that doesn't include a shock or tells you in the ad what the shock size spec is.

Welcome to capitalism, Dude. They are a business, not a charity.
Gee, thanks for your insight.

I wasn't counting on getting it for free. I was just counting
on getting the fork for the advertised sale price.
Poor me, I had to wait two days to get adequate funds and
then lo and behold, capitalism won out and they raised the
price.
I still think it's a little shady, and they were pretty rude
on the phone.
Are you one of the brainless employees of supergo???
just wondering.

I feel your frustration; however, sales don't last forever....

Have you been to Sears or other retail places, they do the same thing. Sales are not forever...

Sales are sales and that is all. How long are they suppose to wait for people to get the money together? Perhaps you could have put a little money down and they could have held it for you. Next time you see something on sale that you want, ask them how long it will be on sale, stock situation, whether they will hold it for you etc.
I just bought a cateye altimeter computer from Cambria for what I thougt to be a killer deal, and when they sent it to me they also sent a sale flyer and they were offering the thing for $15 less. Oh well. I am happy with it and don't want to spend a bunch of time haggling over it. Besides the computer is no longer being made and I would be a lot more upset about not getting it at all.
We all suffer from coulda woulda shoulda, but it all balances out against the should not haves.

Actually I think they just lowered the price for the day when mtbr checks the prices on their "Hot Buys" section... its still listed at the lower price here and they even have ads with the low price going out on the mtbr emails. Its not a sale its a scam! I think you should just call em up and demand the price they are advertising on mtbr.

You are misunderstanding me.
It is STILL on sale, the current sale price is just
higher than the sale price from the day before.

Yep, and Supergo is one of the reasons

the other bike stores offer decent deals, some bike stores even keep a copy of the supergo sale catalog at their register and offer price matching.
I have even negotiated some out the door prices with supergo at the F.V. store.
