i would be grateful for some advice regarding my 2002 santa cruz super 8.

-the rear disc mount on the frame, does anybody know if its international standard or not?
I was told by a friend that to put a hope M4 on the rear it needs to have caliper no6- it this correct? Or does anybody know which rear disc brakes will fit directly on, and if they need a particular mount?
-the fox vanilla rc rear, can anybody recommend how to set up the rebound/compression, its got a 650lb spring, i'm 12 stone, and if possible i'd like to 'minimise stress' on the shock itself to maximise its life?

many thanks, i dont know much about the frame/techincal stuff as u can see :)

As far as your break setup goes. A good option will be Hayes HFX9's with a Boxxer Adapter. Yes, the fork adapter on the frame. If you can afford it, get a Fox DHX shock or the 5th element. Some guys like the 5th, some say its lame. Your call.
