Just put together my sons new GT Avalanche 2.0 which comes with a Suntour XCR-LO w/LO. After assembly I was messing with the forks limited adjustment and noted the lockout features seems to have some dampness adjust-ability?? Just wondering if anyone can confirm this or not. I certainly don't want to run it half way and damage the fork. Of course Suntours website says very little.

The XCR-LO has a compression adjustment on the top of the right leg.
If you turn the knob, the fork will be harder to compress, and on the last position of the knob, the fork is locked.
Why would you damage the fork by turning the knob?

Wasn't sure if it was just inteded to lock out or if it had a multiple use. If figured it it both but being the info supplied and the website was pretty much useless I figured I'd better ask.

Thanks
