suntour xc pro with SRAM xo derailluer?

Does anyone know if there will be a problem using these two togther for 8 speed index shifting on an 8 sp xtr cassette? Im not quite sure what th e 1:1 principle is and was a bit worried that it may indicate some incompatibility.

The shifters and derailleur both have to have the 1:1 ratio, refers to how much cable each click of the shifter pulls. Nice shifters, those XC Pros, though. SRAM does make Shimano/Suntour (2:1 ratio) compatible derailleurs, but the X.0 isn't one of them.
