Sunday the 25th, morning shuttle?...

Well, more like a point to point with more down than up and killer cinnamon rolls at the finish.

WARNING: There is climbing on this ride.
We might be heading up to Estes for the weekend. The quesiton is: How much climbing is on this ride? Is it doable by an overweight, out-of-shape rider borrowing his wife's Superlight (w/DH tires)?

crap. and i like this ride, too.

we'll be up in WY, camping and riding/running around Happy Jack area.

come on up! we'll be there from tomorrow, coming home on monday.

i'm off from the 30th -5th, if anyone is into doing some big long high up rides, shuttled or otherwise.

That's a good place to be staying to get in on this ride. :D The climbing is no harder than what we did last week on your shuttle and that bike will be great for it.

Through the 5th? That sucks--Brian C will be on the 6th for a park ride (hopefully) and a shuttle on the 7th...

I was hoping you might say that. The possible plan is to camp at the hp facility on Hwy 36 Friday and Saturday night but we've been holding off on finalizing plans until we get a more decent weather report. I'll let you know what happens when our plans firm up.

Hey kristian...

We're about 15 miles from Estes, with National Forest close by. If you get stuck for camping, you could pitch a tent in our back yard, or nearby NF land, and have the option of sleeping in our walk out basement in case of bad weather, and shower here in the morning.

Thanks for the invite. The (possible) plan is to camp at the hp facility which would give Jaenette access to their network of hiking trails so she has something to do while I have the car and am riding. I have a feeling though that if the weather isn't going to be great, she is going to want to bail on camping.

But if we don't go camping, I am still strongly considering coming up for the ride on Sunday.

Count me....on my bike....please help

Dear Mr Cutlery ( kitchenwarez) et al.

I would be interested, am not sure if my plans for Breck will materialize..depends on the weather.

Man that Pipe to 7b sounded great. I would like to 'not shuttle it' do you have recommendations where to park and how would you recommend doing it?

I just ride a huffy XC and have no armor, nor full face...but I do love the ride.
Any help will be appreciated.

Peace

If you're interested in the ride, we're probably going to be leaving Boulder early (8ish) and it takes about 1:10 to get there, depending on traffic.

I would be up for it later in the summer but with all the rain I think I'm going to stick around here. Have fun!
