The first chance I've had to get out of town for some singletrack singlespeed goodness since Thanksgiving and the weather man orders up some rain -- for the entire west coast.

Middle fingers the sky beotch!

Oh well...what are you gonna do? Hope for the best I guess . It's not like they've never been wrong, but this system looks pretty huge.

Anyone 'goin for it' anyway??

might B headin down to Fort Ord...

Might be going down to Fort Ord Sunday AM if it isn't dumping after sunrise. It drains real well especially early into winter as the first few rains soak in and pack the sand. I think there is a CX race going on at East Garrison too.

Yeah, If I go it would be early as I need to be back for a B party at 2. Charlie was going to race but he is feelin under the weather so he might pass. I will check with him and get back at yah. Again, that would be if it looks like a break in the weather.

OK I talked to Charlie and he is going to pack up tonight and be ready to go in the AM. He messed up his middle finger in a crash last night in UCSC. He said he will be leaving the house around 7:30 for a 9:00-9:30 start.I figure I can do at least a couple hours and be back in plenty of time for the B party. If you want to join me, (ss) let me know. I'll drive.

Thanks for the drive and the ride. Next time I'll remember my shoes. Yes, I got new Lakes and forgot to take them. Rode in tennis shoes. They were white. East Garrison was great today. Thanks again.

Hey we did it, it wasn't pretty after that first lap on the CX course.....especially you without shoes!
I saw Charlie at Safeway early this evening and he told me he really enjoyed riding with you.
Let's get together and do it again, this time in better weather conditions! Ha.......
