I am looking for a long finger glove that is not too hot for summer. Which glove do you like for summer?

In arizona, I use the same gloves that I always use. Going down and getting abraisions on my hands is not worth it. Yes, my hands will sweat, but that's what the material on the palm of the glove is for, grip.

Agreed with the full finger. I'm also in Arizona (103 today) and I'm using some older Fox Sidewinders. I'm gonna actually be replacing them with a new pair soon due to a spill I took last week.

I'm riding with a pair of the Kona XC full-fingered gloves. I'm going to have to replace em soon though, since they're coming apart at the thumb/palm seam. This is to be understood though, since this is the second season I've ridden with them, and they've been through spills galore! :skep: I'm happy with them, and it's totally worth saving the hands.

Troy Lee XC gloves, comfortable, light and breathable. The only downer is they do not have a terry towling thumb to wipe sweat like the sidewinders etc.

Excellent summer gloves, in Australia, we know what summer is all about, stints of 100+ for days on end!

I've been wearing the 661 Raji gloves lately. Been using them for DH and Trail riding and they are pretty light and cool.

I have used the TLD XC gloves in the past and they were good as well.

Home Depot specials...

Last fall I bought a pair of work gloves from Home Depot. They look just like biking gloves (lightly padded in the same spots, sweat/schnott wiper on the thumb), but they cost $9.95.

I wore them in the fall, but found out in the winter the back of the hands was "breathable" (i.e. freaking cold in the subfreezing wind!). I've used them about 9 months now and they are great. I just noticed yesterday that the palm is worn on them, time for a new pair.

It looks like HD has changed brands since I bought mine, but they are similar to these:

Same here. Cheap, light, seem to be durable, and they are very comfortable compared to most gloves I've used. Not much actual padding on the palm, which I happen to prefer anyhow.

Take a look at the Fox Incline gloves. Breathable material on top with a patch of terry cloth to wipe your nose. I like the gloves because they have minimal padding in the palm area and that allows better feel of the handlebars. The only downside is that there is no added protection on top if you occasionally bash your hands against trees and such.
