I have an old Trek Cro Mo bike.
I'm afraid it's true..."Steel is Real"...
It has a wonderful feel that an aluminum bike still doesn't reproduce.
That being said, I still love my San An and other aluminum bikes.

I'll loan you my old LTS rear wheel, throw some SS conversion spacers on the freehub body, get a cog and a chain and your in business. I'll even give you an old 8spd. chain I have laying around if you need one, it's still in good shape even. You can ride it this Sat. at BC and school me a bit... cuz someone needs to show me how it's done before I embarass myself.

Looks good dude. I decided not to use the frame I originally planned on using for my SS build. When I get a few bucks to spare I'll get something.
