Suggestions for Saturday Morning Ride

I'm semi-newish to the area and I'm looking for a good ride for July 15th. My normal riding buddies are going up to Downieville, I can't go cause of prior commitments. I've done the following rides in the area: Wilder Ranch (backcountry), Freemont Older, Skeggs and Stevens Canyon. I'm not afraid to drive a bit but I would like to limit it to a the early morning to beat the heat... start the ride around 8-ish.

Any good trail suggestions? Do you want to ride?

DEMO DEMO DEMO (Soquel Demostration Forest). A couple of us will be there in the a.m. Look for black toyota Tacoma with a bunch of Santa Cruz bikes. Were not the fastest and im bring my big bike for s#$ts and giggles.

Count me in... What time are you guys meeting up? I have the general directions from the trail review, is the parking area obvious?

I wish Demo wasnt such a drive for me (about 2.5 hrs). That place is soo awsome!

The parking area is across the creek from the road, via a one lane metal bridge. If you are descending HIghland from 17, it will be a right turn. The turn is at the bottom of the descent, after the various slides, and before the road starts to climb again.

It is highly advised that you park in the lot, rather than on the road shoulder. Over the years, there have been batches of smash and grab robberies from cars out on the shoulder. It's best not to leave amything of value in the car. If you aren't taking it on the trail, leave it at home, or lock it in the trunk well before you hit the trailhead.

well probably get there around 830 ish if i leave on time
