I just purchased a set of American Classic 350's with cx-ray spokes for racing. I know they should be solid and strong if they're anything like my road AC wheels which I use everyday. However I'm worried about damaging them doing everyday riding, I dont jump or do crazy stuff like that but a bit of technical trail riding.
So its a 2 part question.
1. Does anyone use these wheels for everyday riding and not have to true them too much?
2. Whats a not too heavy cheap wheelset that is more solid if these aren't. Basically If the american classics are going to get beat up whats a good set that I can beat on and still have them decently light? I'm thinking maybe a used set of WTB laserdisc or somthing
