I want to lace up some new wheels for my touring bike, but can't find the right rim. I need to have a rim that is at least 24mm wide so I don't pinch flat while riding my 30-32c tires. It would be best if the rear rim had an offset lacing pattern so the build could be as strong as possible. 36H is a must!
My options so far:
DT Swiss Touring rim-- 530g, welded joint, no offset spoke holes, 20mm deep, eyelets
Velocity Dyad rim--480g, pinned joint, 22mm deep, eyeletes
What other rims should I look at? What is the strongest?
