Got a quick pic of Chase's bike, and talked with him about it. He runs three different cassette rings, (says he stays mostly in the one it's in in the pic) but he can then shift it onto the plastic spacers for a "neutral gear" so when he lands fakie, the chain just slides on the spacers and the pedals don't turn. Brilliant!

Thats actually REALLY clever. Thanks for putting that up. I love seeing good ideas that people use to help them with things.

he has a sweet bike...

but DAM! have any of u ppl actually watched him ride...i thought i was rough...but when compared to this guys im as smooth as a silky smooth front bum...DAM!

oh and did i say his bikes sweet...:D

No kidding, and I remember there being a bunch of arguements when those movies came out as to whether it was cheap to shift onto a spacer on the cassette or not.
