Anyone going?

I am in a 4 team.

Looks like another epic 24hrs with lots of snow, ice and crap weather!

Now the silly part... going to do it on the FR!!

I have made some ice tyres but will wait until the day to decide if I will need them or not.

Done it last year so I know what's ahead.

there's 2 foot of snow up the hill here! I'm guessing twice that over at the puffer? no tyres will cope with that! good luck to you:thumbsup:

It's getting cleared daily!

I think it will be epic!
Epic - ball busting by the sounds of it - good luck Krembo
Hiya Kbrembo how did you get on? I went with three mate (our 4th year!) and had just the best time. Best event yet I think. How did your FR perform with your home made ice tyres? I just used normal mud tyres and found these to be okay.

Epic weekend and I hope you had a great time

Just had a look at your pictures. Man, you guys must have balls of steel. Camping there and having a race going on at that circumstances... ReSpEcT! ;)

I'll bet the steel-suspension-rohloff combo performed flawlessly, as always
LOL Testman

The Strathpuffer is my favourite event of the year. I love the winter, snow, rain and the dark so with 18 hrs of darkness and lots of snow and ice and a bit of rain I was in heaven ;) Plus the whole weekend is such a good laugh.

As for the bike and the ‘hoff both worked flawlessly. It is good to have one less thing to worry about :) Mind you I managed to scratch the frame on the way home :( still it looks used now :)
