I remeber reading a while back about modifying a normal rapidfire shifter to make is rapidfire plus so I wondered if anyone else has been playing with shifter internals and managed to stop the double drop on a R/H XTR M970 shifter?

You could easily modify it to do away with the double upshifts, but I'm not sure how feasible it would be to limit the downshifts.
