I ride a fully stock (for now ) K2 Zed 4.4 and I just started to notice a slight bend in my rear wheel after having the bike for about 5 months. I primarily ride the bike around campus but like to get out to the trails as often as possible. I tend to be pretty hard on my rims, accidentally hitting curbs from time to time when I forget to hop, so it's no surprise I'm noticing the bending.
Can I get some recommendations for a strong but lightweight rim for a price range of under $40 per rim? Thanks!

Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite is strong and cheap, and not terribly heavy. Of course the quality of the build will be a big factor in durability and if you're denting rims put more air in your tires.
