this is a cool hand built retaining wall I saw this week. I had the opportunity to see a lot of amazing stone work on this trail . Too bad it's closed to bikes - it's the Idaho Centennail Trail, on the Middle Fork of the Salmon river, a wild and scenic river corridor.( wild and scenic is an additional set of regs on top of wilderness) I was floating the river, which the trail parralels for about 60 miles. I just thought this wall at the bottom of a rock fall pile was amazing, because it blends in so well. There was a lot more neato rock work, it's just hard to take pics from a raft.
