Woke up early this morning to one bike missing off the rack on my porch :( . The cable lock was cut and they only stole my 2009 mission 3. Sadly I don't have the serial number like a dummy and I'm not sure how I can prove its mine other than my receipt. Please be on the lookout, I live in Tacoma it's pretty much stock except for some black Oury grips, grey forte pedals, a 60mm husselfelt stem, and a bike computer. Some of the paint was rubbed off on the crank arms. Any advice would be appreciated guys I already filed a police report so we will see what happens. Here's a picture just from google and some crappy cell phone pics.

1- the shop where you bought it should have the serial number. if you bought it used, find the seller and ask them where they got it. track it back to the shop and get that serial number.
2- there's a site, not sure what it is but I read about it recently, that allows a meta-search of all the craigslist sites in the region. Find that and keep an eye on craigslist.
3- file a police report with the details that show it's uniquely yours. be sure to give them the serial number, if you can get it from the shop.
4- if/when you find it, call the police and let them get it back for you.

The rest of you reading this: write down or take pictures of your serial numbers!!!

Sadly I bought my bike online, so I'll give giantnerd.com a call tomorrow to see if they have the serial number. I called my local shop that works on it and they didn't have any record of the serial number. So lesson learned I guess it all worked out with renters insurance. Well while we track down my mission the guys at dropnzone in Bellingham hooked me up with my dream setup. check it out!

I bought it yesterday it absolutely rips I've never been so impressed with a bike. They had it built before I even made the drive up. It's a really sweet ride going to blackrock this weekend to try it out.
