The night of December 29 three bicycles got stolen from our garage in Desert Ridge.

1 - Ventana El Capitan, 29" wheels, black unique X-frame, white Foxfork.

Fox F29 RLC fork (100mm) Chris King headset Magura Louise 180ft/160rr hydraulic brakes
SRAM X-9 trigger shifters, ft. & rr derailleur, PG-980 cassette, PC991 chain w/ hollow pins
Truvativ Stylo 3.3 GXP crankset, Forte Carve pedals, WTB 29er wheelset, Kenda Nevegal tires, WTB Pure V Race saddle, Thomson Elite seatpost, Thomson X4 31.8mm stem, FSA XC- 190 handlebars, Ritchey grips, black Rixen Kaul tool saddle bag, Cannondale pump attached to frame. Cateye wireless odometer

2 - Specialized Roubaix, Carbon Roadbike Blue-white XL (61 cm)

Shimano 105 shifters/brake levers and brakes, Specialized saddle w Rixen Kaul toolbag, two plastic Specialized bottle holders, black little pump, Cateye wireless odometer

3 - Giant Sedona 19" frame black w/ saddlebag, pump

you would think that someone who takes the time to break into a garage (unless left unlocked) would at least check the rest of the house. Or else they knew you and specifically wanted the bikes. Are home break-ins that common there to warrant getting a lockable storage cage installed inside the garage?

sorry to hear this however given your details this is certainly an inside job and done by someone who either has a friend on your street and got a peek or by someone who lives 6 or less miles away and had time to watch and plan. Given these bikes aren't cheap your thief is no fool and you will not see these bikes on ebay or craiglslist nor on a trail anywhere 30 miles in your area..Maybe Sedona or maybe tucson..You might get lucky 2% chance and drive around late night or early morning and do so normally and see if anyone just so happens to be loading or off loading your goods into their garage after or before the ride. Remember you won't see your bikes close so be sure to drive around pretty late or really early your thief isn't dumb. Good Luck and sorry for your loss i might have jumped off a bridge had that happened to me.
