stock brakes to disc on 2004 raleigh m50??

I don't really understand how you install disc brakes. I am planning on getting disc brakes in a couple months and I am wondering should I do this myself or have LBS do it for me? If the LBS does it they said they'll charge me for that so I don't really wanna pay more :confused: . PLEASE HELP!!! thanks

Have the shop do it.

Trust me on this one. Have the LBS install your first set of discs.
