So, I have been riding a Thomson Elite 120/ 15 degree for years...I would love to dump some weight, but the 15 degrees has me commited to that stem. I have cut my steerer tube to meet the top of the Thomson. The WCS is 6 degrees...with a weight loss of about 78 grams... but, at my age (54), I really don't feel like giving my body a "re-fitting shock". The new Thomson X4 is 10 degrees, but only accepts a 31.8 bar. I have a new Maxxum 25.4 bar...thus I ain't going to buy a new bar. Any thoughts?
