I know the stem rise is 15 or 16, but how long is it?

I'm looking to add some lighter components to my 05 Boulder SE, and I figured the stem was the easiest/cheapest place to start. Any objections/suggestions to that??

i would start at looking at tires and wheels, than cranks, der's, than the stem and handlebars, good frame, nuckin tuff frame, we sell a ton of them, great bikes for the cash
