can anyone tell me the minimum steerer tube length for a 05 kona dee lux (20in/xxl)...?
If you mean this bike https://www.klassickona.com/oldgold/2005/kona_d.jpg it's saying that the biggest size frame was the 60cm. Current Kona road bikes seem to have head tubes of around 19.5cm in that kind of size, and the steerer needs to be a minimum of 6.5cm or so longer than the head tube (subject obviously to the precise headset and stem that you run). So that implies a 26cm steerer.

remember you need to add into that the stack height of the headset you'd like to use, any spacers and stem height also.

yeah well considering that i am rockin a 20in(xxl) frame i figure that when including stem, headset, spacers, headtube, etc... i will need a steerer tube that is uncut or at least 9-9 1/2in at minimum...meaning i am going to be forced to purchase a new guy...not used...
