anyone have have a size large or can provide links to maker of steel 29er frames with V brake mounts? I rode my rigid 26er for 3 hours yesterday and had so much fun I now want to swap all the parts on to a rigid 29er frame. I cant afford a boutique or high end/ custom frame, nor want to deal with disc brakes.

I have a dambala with v brakes, it works great.

how about a gt peace? I believe those are steel. and I know theres a disc version now but i think you can still get v compatible frames.

I think I saw that Jenson USA had Jamis Exile frames cheap and the pic showed canti studs. Just FYI.

GT Peace 9r. There is one on ebay with a BIN of $300 for the complete bike.

The first versions came as V-brake only.
