Who makes a steel frame fat bike? Any word the steel Fatbacks? I just like steel frame bikes. Would of course like a Ti frame but just out of my league.

Hey, I'm going to be the ******* today and say "Search."

Heck, today you don't even need to do forum searching, there is a thread on page one of the Fat Bikes subforum, which you could find with a Ctrl+F.

Steel is indeed real.
I love the Steel as well... I am loving the Pugsley. Really cost effective also. Original, not too flashy. Bang for the buck. ;)

Drew, I'm with you on this one. The number of times people ask a question and the exact same thread is still on the first page amazes me. I guess it's just too easy to ask questions first and read later.
FWIW I went to pick up a "we missed you" mail item at the local USPS. I failed to read that it wouldn't arrive until an hour later than I had arrived at the post.

Pot, kettle. Oops =P
Drew Miller and sryanak, if you lived in a place with no cell phones and only a dial up internet option you would not have the patience to spend an afternoon searching for tidbits of info. We all have better things to do. Mine? surf and ride. I posted this question for help from people that might have some useful information to offer.

Cheers,
Steve

What they were getting at is that:

In order to post a new thread in the fatbikes forum, you had to be on the fat bikes forum main page. All you would have had to do was scroll down, nothing more. The page had already loaded. There is a thread titled "Steel Frames", or something similar about a dozen or so threads down from this one.

It's all good though. You're new here. Everyone makes that mistake first time they're on a forum.
bdundee,

Thank you for the offer. I would need a 20'' frame. The next time I fly over to Anchorage I will stop in at Speedway for some help.

Thanks all,
Steve

Wow, where's all the anger coming from. Give me a call ready to start riding again. But you got to promise not to yell at me, I,m very sensitive.
Not really anger, bud... OP said that he has to live with dial-up, and that plainly sucks.

Glad to hear your lungs are healed up, I'll be out of town for about a week and will hit you up after.
