Stashe with a longer stem

Anyone here replaced their 50mm stem with a 70-80mm stem? What were the handling changes you found because of the change? I have a 2016 Stashe 9 that I bought a while back but didn't get to ride because of health problems. Problems are almost gone and I've found the cockpit on this bike is shorter than my older bikes.

Change the stem length/rise. Try wider/narrower bars. It’s your bike and you won’t break anything :) Longer stem with same bars will make the bike feel “less turny/more stable.” And it might fit you better. Have fun.

It's a stem which can be found for less then $10. You should just try it out man!
Have a 35mm carbon bar on it right now. Longest 35 stem I've seen is 80-90mm. Will pick one up in a bit.

Which stems you have in mind for less than $10?

Cheapest I've found is $40 shipped for an 80-90mm stem.
