Ok, used bike arn't that much cheaper than new bikes. Is it worth it to save maybe $800 tops on a used FS dh bike? If not i am thinking about the banshee scream. I don't know what fork or anything to put on it. I heard the JR t was crap, mixed reviews on the expensive 888... maybe a super t? i dunno. Needs to be a dc fork. Also any suggestions on cheaper bikes? it needs to be a complete set. The scream is 3500 complete, but i would enjoy not spending near that much. Thanks.

If you go used, check with the frame manufacturer and see if the warranty is transferable or if they have a good crash replacement policy. When I bought my 2001 Intense M1 through MTBR classifieds, I first checked with Intense to find out their crash replacement policy incase I crack the frame. On forks, I like the Super-T.
