I searched a bit and, while it seems that other riders who have the Easton Havoc's or similar sized rims run the freeride rimstrip, I haven't really found anything explicitly stating WHY a person should run the correct width strip. I assume that the tires just won't seal if the rimstrip is too narrow, but I just wanted to confirm.
I ask because a buddy gave me a pair of stan's rimstrips a few years ago and, since I already have them handy, I was thinking about finally giving them a shot on my Havoc's with a 2.6 Kinetic up front and a 2.5 Conti Diesel in the back (for my "beefy" hardtail).
